Dwelling houses, which are built according to the technology of «Teplosten», as to their economical indices can be entirely related to dwelling of economy class. High consumer's qualities of blocks and erected from them dwelling houses are conditioned by their three-layered structure (Patents 2208101, 2208102 52392).

The block consists of the bearing layer – a porous haydite concrete of class B 5,0 – B 10,0 and with density 1200 - 1400 kg/m3, the inner layer – an effective insulant with density more than 25 kg/m3, and the outer protective decorative layer concrete of class B 10,0 – 12,0 and with density up to 2000 kg/m3. All layers are connected with each other by means of reinforcement bars.

Blocks are made with high accuracy of geometry, that is why blockwork is made in one row on thin joints in thickness 2-4 mm using adhesive cement. Experience in wall construction from «Teplosten» blocks reveals the following advantages as compared to traditional constructions:

1. High heat engineering specifications of walls. Using houses which were built from heat-effective «Teplosten» blocks heating expenses are thrice less in contrast to brick houses. Walls from such blocks create so called «thermos effect», i.e. they conduct neither cold nor warm. In such a house it is warm in winter and cool in summer.

2. Reducing of construction time. The blockwork is made in one row by analogy with baby building bricks. That is why this work do not require high qualification. Put the block and the wall is ready: from the outside the block has ornamental finishing and on the inside the walls are finished with gypsum boards or are plastered. Such laying allows to reach high speed in wall construction (2-5 days – 1 floor).
3. Saving of cost of construction of exterior walls is reached due to:
   • exclusion of exterior finish, i.e. blocks have decorative layer already at the stage of production and when constructed do not require execution of finishing work, which is always connected with great labour and material costs, and consequently with additional expenses. As a result the price of wall from «Teplosten» blocks is lower for 20-30% in contrast to walls from other constructions;
   • reducing of man-hours when laying, i.e. the laying is made in one row and according to the nomenclature;
   • use of adhesive cement instead of mortar (expenditure – 1 bag (25 kg) on 1 m3 of laying);
   • increase of area at the expense of small thickness of walls;
   • reducing of transport expenses as a result of lesser volume of walling material and weight of 1m2 of wall;
   • economies on the cost of insulant because insulant is already included in the construction of block.

4. Saving while constructing foundation. Weight of 1m2 of wall from «Teplosten» blocks is more than twice less then weight of brick wall, that is why loading on the foundation is considerably less. This allows construction of not such thick foundation as compared to brick walls. Saving on materials and labour-intensiveness amounts 15-20%.

Inner surface of the block is ready for finishing with gypsum boards or plastering. External decorative layer can have different texture and colour spectrum.
